New Year, New Kitchen

White and Stainless Kitchen with Subway Tile and Marble-Look Countertops (via acleanbake.com)

Happy last week of 2015! How were all of your Christmases? How did you celebrate or, if not celebrate, spend the day?

For those who celebrate, did you get some good presents? I certainly can’t complain, but I got my absolute best present of the year right before my birthday a few weeks ago: a brand new kitchen. Despite all of the delays, hurdles, and general headache of it all, it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Many of you said that you wanted to see pictures, especially after being teased for so long with the progress, so here you go!

Thank you so much, Monica! It really is SO nice to have a full functional kitchen again, not to mention one that is such a pleasure to work in. It was the best present I could have hoped for. Happy new year!!

I love your new kitchen!! And I love that you have a designated section for your cookbooks! I’m running out of places to put mine! I hope I get to upgrade my kitchen soon, so jealous!

Thank you so much, Linda! The cookbook book shelf is a wonderful perk to have, and it was created because that space is not deep enough for another cabinet. I was disappointed to be losing a cabinet at first, but now I am so thrilled! Good luck with your reno!

OMGGGG! Your kitchen is amazing – a great Christmas present for sure! I want to buy a house now just so you can come and design my kitchen! I love everything from your countertops, to the appliances, to the wine storage. It turned out so beautiful – absolutely love it!

Ok you got the best Christmas present hands down! Your kitchen is beautiful!! It’s my dream kitchen in reality 🙂 I’ve always wanted a wine compartment like you have next to the fridge and the little nook for cookbooks? Genius! Pinning this to my dream home board 🙂 hope you have a Happy Nee Year friend!
